Throughout my academic career I have been most interested in questions related to how humans think. I consider physics to be a pinnacle example of our ability to conceptualize and interact with the world. By using tools such as statistical mechanics and information theory, I hope to shed light on how the multitude of biological phenomena present in the human brain give rise to thought.
